Key Account Manager – Construction Logistics

Working as a Key Accounts Manager in an established team and taking over a mature Key Account base, you will take projects from completed specification through to build. Key Accounts Managers in our client’s sector work with main contractors and specialist sub-contractors, adding value by providing technical and commercial support, assisting with tendering and generally working as a valued external team member to ensure that projects complete as specified.
As Key Account Manager, you’ll also have dealings with a wide variety of key internal company, key client and key supplier stakeholders and working with them to secure leads and control commercial factors such as pricing and rebates. Finally, as Key Account Manager, you will represent our client’s business at construction industry and sporting events.
Experience as a Key Account Manager within the construction sector with some understanding of the routes to market are NOT essential for this role. However, our client is particularly keen to speak to candidates currently working within merchanting, site-based plant, FM and other building services providers who would like to progress into a more senior Key Accounts Manager role.
Basic salary of up to £45,000 along with an OTE of £60,000 and an attractive benefits package which includes company car allowance.
