Digital Marketing Executive Vacancy, Harrow, London

Our client, Munnelly Group PLC a leading UK construction and infrastructure support services group, is searching for a highly energised, self-motivated and experienced Digital Marketing Executive to join a growing marketing team. The Digital Marketing Executive will be working closely with the Digital Marketing Manager.


The Role


  • Assist the Digital Marketing Manager with managing and maintaining all brand websites, including improving SEO, auditing and analysis
  • Work with Digital Marketing Manager to create an SEO and SEM strategy to ensure growth, engagement and brand building for all brands and their unique customer requirements
  • Responsible for ensuring all existing site pages are claimed across all online platforms (Yelp, Directories, Google Listing and others)
  • Implement and optimise campaigns within agreed marketing spend levels, with a specific focus on SEO and SEM encompassing paid-search and paid-social channels
  • Responsible for off-page SEO such as backlinks and guest blogging as well as influencer marketing


Content Creation

  • Create digital content to support a wider digital marketing strategy
  • Create SEO and SEM optimised web pages, social media content, blogs, landing pages, campaign content and press releases
  • Write compelling optimised guest and feature content based on trending topics
  • Content creation and management such as videos and scheduled content management and release
  • Work with the creative team to create artwork, image, videos and text for various communications and campaigns
  • Creating optimised content to share on forums and relevant websites for all brands


Social Media Strategy

  • Create and implement a social media strategy with the Digital Marketing Manager for all MGPLC brands
  • Oversee all MGPLC brand social media accounts
  • Work with the creative team to ensure engaging content, imagery and messaging is created
  • Ensure we interact with social media engagements and provide commentary on relevant posts
  • Attend MGPLC brand events for real-time messaging and stories
  • Track and report on online performance
  • Engage with MGPLC industry influencers
  • Ensure all key MGPLC internal and external messaging is delivered as it happens
  • Undertake a competitor analysis of social activity
  • Work with the marketing team to deliver social content for campaigns, website updates and news
  • Contribute to the yearly budget and strategy


Digital Advertising

  • Support the digital team with the creation of paid campaigns across all digital advertising platforms in line with brand messaging and keywords
  • Research and gather keywords and trending words for campaigns
  • Analyse and optimise adverts to ensure they are high ranking with strong page relevance score, this will include having relevant landing pages
  • Weekly and monthly review of AD campaigns and optimise based on ROI and analytics
  • Create mobile optimised paid campaigns
  • Use gathered data from analytics and other sources to understand customer wants, needs and improve customer experience


Email Marketing and Campaigns

  • Run monthly and on-trend marketing campaigns for both internal and external audiences
  • Bring creativity to our marketing strategy, allowing us to appeal to our customers in the right way that will, in turn, drive awareness and build engagement
  • Create engaging and creative email newsletter and templates with relevant CTAs
  • Analyse and track engagement and success rate of email campaigns
  • Work with the manager to create campaigns focused on acquisition and retention
  • Create and manage loyalty schemes across all brands, optimizing the schemes to encourage brand loyalty and allow customer data to be used for targeted marketing


Essential skills

  • Must have excellent written and communication skills
  • Previous and proven digital marketing experience


Desirable skills

  • Previous industry experience
  • Degree in English or Marketing


The ideal candidate:

  • Demonstrable knowledge of SEO, SEM and how to improve the visibility of websites in search results
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to see trends and apply learnings to strategy
  • Preferably know Adobe, Canva, Mailchimp, WordPress and Hootsuite
  • Experience with using Google paid and non-paid platforms
  • Experience in taking photos, creating live video for social media and keyword optimised content
  • Will demonstrate knowledge of SEO, SEM and how to improve the visibility of websites in search results
